Dr. Ali Ahmed is an eminent leading expert in the fields of AI and ML. He has held senior positions in industry as a chief data scientist over past six years. He has worked in machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, statistics and optimization theory. He has lead teams of scientists and engineers to develop end-to-end data driven solutions for several industrial verticals including healthcare, financial services, oil and gas, retail, etc. He heads Centre of research and development in AI and machine learning and has authored several research articles published in the prestigious and highly competitive venues in machine learning research. He holds a Ph.D. in machine learning and computing from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, and has worked as a postdoctoral associate and visiting faculty at Brown University, and MIT, USA for several years. He is a researcher, practitioner, AI developer, an educationist for the past 12 years.
